My Favorite HobbitKucinich is no more crazy for believing in UFO's than he is for being honest -- more or less -- about his beliefs. I just heard that 35% of United Statesians believe in UFOs.That's a pretty large number, large enough to reconsider the parting thought posed by a favorite movie, Contact: "I'll tell you one thing about the universe, though. The universe is a pretty big place. It's bigger than anything anyone has ever dreamed of before. So if it's just us... seems like an awful waste of space." Go ahead, count me among the kooks, but Campaign '08 is proving we need to stop wasting space.
Comments:
There's nothing in believing in Unidentified Flying Objects, since UFOs certainly exist and are usually, eventually, identified. It is another thing entirely to believe in visitors from outer space, which Kucinich didn't claim.
